Atal Tinkering Labs
The Government of India has set up the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) at Niti Ayog, raising the need to create scientific temperament and cultivate the spirit of unity and innovation among young minds AM poses to support establishing a network of talking Laboratories (ATL). The tinkering data is a workspace where young minds can give shape to their ideas through hands-on do-it-yourself mode and learn innovation skills.
Atal Tinkering Labs promotes innovation and creativity in a scientific and technological environment. Using ATAL, we want to transform students from makers to innovators by helping them develop their ideas and teaching them tinkering skills.
The government of India has introduced this initiative to encourage a culture of innovation, curiosity, creativity, and imagination, along with entrepreneurship among young people.
This platform is designed to promote global innovation hubs, pioneering projects, start-up businesses, and countless other self-employment opportunities, especially in the technology sector.
Curriculum Offered by Atal Labs
ATAL Labs offer a comprehensive curriculum tracing all the essentials of AI, IoT, and Robotics. Starting from a necessary introduction to ATL, their Teacher Training Module, Physical Computing (IoT) Module to Artificial Intelligence, 3D Design and Printing Module, Ethical Leadership in Tinkering and Innovation (ELTI) Module and so much more!
In addition, ATAL also brings activities such as ATL Marathon, ATL Tinkerpreneur and ATL Community Day.

Our Role in ATLS
To set up the laboratories in schools, as per the specifications and guidelines stipulated by NITI Aayog, we are providing Quality equipment as per the list of recommended tools and materials supplied by NITI. We also take care of the branding guidelines as per NITI Training and Maintenance of the ATLs is also handled by our professional trainers.
We also provide Software, Training, and regular Workshops and Bootcamps.
Our Proposed Activities for the ATLS
- Establish programs to teach and explain to students different concepts ranging from ideation, design, prototyping, and networking to physical computing
- Work with partner schools to conduct ATL-associated events with other schools
- Ensure community participation in ATL
- Conduct periodic exhibitions/fairs/carnivals
- Conduct workshops on problem-solving, designing, and fabrication of products Organizing popular STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and entrepreneurship talks by reputed speakers
- Help schools to participate and compete in other STEM-related events at the national or international level
